UnderPacking Materials

You have decided to use the many advantages

of waterless offset printing. That is an economically

and environmentally sound decision! With us you

will find all underpacking materials that you require.

What we excel at is to recognize technical trends and changes in the market and to turn them into innovations. The 3 Z came about in the 1950s and stood for Zylinderaufzüge (cylinder liners), Zwischenpapiere (slip sheets) and Zurichtseiden (make-ready silks), three major products in our assortment at that time. In the 1980s, we then picked up on the idea of waterless offset printing, which we continued to develop until it was ready for the market, making us the first dealer of waterless offset printing technology in all of Europe. As the inventor and worldwide market leader for calibrated underpacking sheets, and the supplier of self-adhesive underpacking foils using a system of colour coding, we offer our worldwide customers a wide range of products and comprehensive services in collaboration with our system partners. This is also reflected in our company philosophy

The UnderPacking Sheet

Unique throughout the world: Calibrated underpacking sheets from the inventor.

An even contact pressure of the printing cylinder on the printing surface is, amongst other things, absolutely decisive for an optimal print result with offset

technology. This is ensured by underpacking sheets of different thicknesses. marks-3zet underpacking sheets are manufactured according to the ISO standards

for calibrated materials. The required tolerances are not only fulfilled in this regard, they are clearly exceeded!

A smooth printing process requires underpacking sheets of various thicknesses. These thicknesses move in a range of hundredths of millimetres and lie between

0.075 and 0.5 mm. The marks-3zet colour coding system for the 10 different sheets has two advantages: Firstly, it makes the use of measuring tools completely unnecessary and secondly, it simplifies the selection of the right sheet.

Underpacking sheets from marks-3zet are safe, reliable, error-free and entirely unique. Safe, because their "anti-slip" properties which prevent shifting. Reliable,

since its special impregnation prevents a swelling of the sheet. Unique, because the experience gained by marks-3zet over 60 years, and the many patented

processes used by us, have led to the development of a top-class product!
