David Stamp

Global Channel Partners Summit 2015
Manchester : Presentation Synopsis
In business today, creating alliances between companies which share some common aims & objectives can be highly beneficial.
Without causing competitive issues, or even sharing confidential knowledge, such companies can pool certain resources to achieve common business goals and gain reach and new influence in market sectors, geographic markets or technology branches that they share a common interest in.
David Stamp will discuss how and why the PrintCity Alliance 2000-2012 was a very good example of what can be achieved by a cross section of companies involved in paper, board, inks, coatings, blankets, specialised packaging material and printing press equipment (conventional and digital) sectors, when they all worked together to promote:
-
Industry environmental best practice
-
Benefits of Value Added Printing & Packaging techniques
-
New standards, efficiency improvements and industry guidelines
He will discuss the benefits of working in such an alliance, and explain how this 'sharing' concept can be applied to other areas of the printing & packaging global industry, from printers to manufacturers, plus how it applies to other industries.
Other alliances which will be mentioned include the One World and Star Alliance airline partnerships, plus 'whole industry' alliances such as Two Sides, the BPIF, VDMA and similar organisations.
