History

 

In 2006, an Italian software company started an R&D project, based on the idea to innovate the basic concept of an external drum CTP system

with a thermal laser head.

 

With the success of the project, the division CtpOptotec was born and became the first Italian manufacturer of computer-to-plate systems.

 

At Drupa 2008 the first version of the platesetter One CtP was launched and in October of 2011, a new and improved One CtP was introduced to the market.

 

A second prepress solution, the workflow software One Workflow, was launched at Drupa 2012.

 

The youngest addition to the product range is the One Autoloader,launched at Drupa 2012 as well.

 

Following an ever-growing business path

 

+ New production site

 

Beside our current production site, we have a new production site in Naples, Italy to manufacture the One CtP.

 

Beginning of 2014 we will therefore be able to launch a batch production of 30 to 60 units upon market requests.

 

+ Trainings for technical staff members

 

Either on-site or online by remote. This in order to "share" the knowledge of the One CtP system and facilitate assistance to our clients and dealer, helping them to

+ Consolidation of our distribution network abroad

 

Represented by our biggest reseller and partner in Germany marks-3zet GmbH & Co. KG, we now cover not only Italy, but Germany, the Netherland, Russia,

France, Iran, Cambodia and Bangladesh as well.

 

+ Continuous development of the One CtP

 

Both functional and operational. We are currently developing a UV laser module for the recording of conventional plates. This allows One CtP users to switch their

laser module from thermal to UV and vice versa. The UV laser module will also be a solution for other CTP manufacturers. Evolution 2014, the innovation program

for One CtP 750 & 1100, flexo CTP and newspaper CTP are some of our other “projects in progress”.

From a technological and a distributional point of view, our target is always to find the right partner. Either, to improve the system technology of our prepress

solutions or to introduce and distribute our technology in new markets.

 

One® CtP: The CTP solution for every printing company

 

The One CtP series comprises of the One CtP 750 (4-page) and 1100 (8-page) imagesetter, each designed to meet the needs of different production environments.

In combination with One Autoloader, One CtP can be considered as one of the most advanced, compact and automated CTP system available.

 

Technology become progress when it is for everyone

 

High flexibility is one the most important features of One CtP. Both the One CtP 750 and 1100 can image up to 40 plates per hour and handle every type of

thermal plate with plate sizes ranging from min. 240 x 220 mm to max. 1.078 x 850 mm. This way, One CtP is able to support a wide range of offset presses.

With the interchangeable laser head One ILH and the high resolution option MultipleRES it is possible to easily switch between various resolutions of up to 7.620 dpi.

This makes One CtP ideal for print jobs with varying resolution requirements. Additionally, a 3D lenticular output mode is available on both models to support crisp

3D printing.With these features, One CtP enables high value-added printing and will enhance differentiation in the market place. Moreover, with the new One

Autoloader, the level of operability, automation and flexibility of the One CtP can be further optimized. The ability to load plates during continuous exposure results

in increased production volumes and the ability to keep up with the needs of multiple printing jobs and high-speed presses.

One CtP is delivered with a free entry-level version of the workflow software One Workflow. The entry-level solution can later be complemented with optional

workflow modules such as MultipleRIP.

Technical Training

at our premises in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany or Naples, Italy. During this 5-day training, participants will get acquainted with our company and all (technical)

aspects of our product range, including the installation and the pre- and after-sales service and support.

 

R&D

 

The Sharing Knowledge Program is also part of our market-oriented research and development program. To support our innovative CTP technology, CtpOptotec

invests extensively in resources to maintain and increase the R&D program and performance. Market feedback, based on the Sharing Knowledge Program findings,

is analyzed and placed in perspective to improve our current products as well as used to develop new technologies.

 

With this contributively approach to people and markets, CtpOptotec’s strategy, based on (sharing) knowledge, is used as a powerful instrument to open the CTP market.
