TimeOutDavidBaldwin – SocialDancerGate – The Story So Far – Part One
Throughout ‘TimeOutDavidBaldwin - Social Dancer Gate - The Story So Far - Part One - The Explanation’, we employ a rights-based approach which focuses on the unchallengeable and inalienable rights of an individual social dancer. The interested reader will identify that David Baldwin a ‘dance organizer’ had no ‘right’ to adversely affect a’ social dancers’ legitimate expectations of ‘well being’ and ‘peaceful enjoyment’ and that the same’ dance organizer’, the ‘dance venues’ and the ‘dance association’ associated with TimeOutDavidBaldwin had a ‘ direct responsibility’ to’ protect’ and ‘safeguard’ the social dancer in the event of the actions which clearly and adversely affected the same innocent social dancer and that as a corollary each of the above had a irrevocable responsibility to explain, apologize and compensate, the social dancer for such unwarranted, personally damaging and injurious actions; which have attracted universal opprobrium.
‘TimeOutDavidBaldwin - Social Dancer Gate - The Story So Far - Part One - The Explanation’ asks the simple question why? Did David Baldwin get away with the sequence of events (as detailed) and as importantly why? Did the Dance Organizer, Dance Venues and Dance Association; not act in defense of the social dancer?
We ask at the beginning of this book’ If a man goes into a dance and is abusive to the patrons and or the staff, he will be thrown out and banned. If a man is abused by the ‘management’ whilst he is peacefully enjoying his time in a dance and is thrown out and banned, what happens? Apparently nothing!!!!
In Part Two - The Apologies and Part Three - The Compensation of the TimeOutDavidBaldwin Series (which follow) more searching questions are posited and calls are made for legislative recourse for the Social Dancer so that TimeOutDavidBaldwin never happens again and that Dance Organizers, Dance Venues and Dance Associations have by law an immoveable obligation and are required to take immediate responsibility for their own actions and/or inactions, when they individually and /or collectively fail to protect or safeguard the social dancer.
